Australia : Autumn Vacation

Hi guys, i'm rarely writing a blog. But i think i should start making a blog. Okay as an introduction you can view the about me section. On my first post today i'm gonna tell you a bit about my vacation to Australia last week. I just highlighted some moments that memorable for me from that trip. The duration of the trip itself only one week. I visited 3 major cities in Australia, like Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne. I couldn't give you all the details about this trip. But i will tell you everything that i remember. Enjoy reading folks!

This was the first city that i visited during my trip. The weather in Melbourne was cold that day. Honestly i was tired after my long flight from Jakarta, but the trip must go on, so i decided to used the time wisely. Because i only had two days in Melbourne, and i didn't want to waste any single time. The best part about Melbourne is the weather and the city itself. I had a mini tour around Melbourne with my friends from high school, Priska and Filatie. We went to this huge casino building (Sun City if i'm not mistaken). Thanks God i already 18 years old at that time and allowed to went inside the casino. It was crowded but one thing that made me shocked was when i saw this group of old woman played casino, and when i heard their accent i could tell that they're from Surabaya. You can imagine an old lady with bee-hive hair playing casino while laughing with their friends. And trust me, they won a lot that night, like...a lot!

The next city that i visited was Gold Cost! Hell yeah....Beaches...Swimsuit...Thongs( Oz slang for slippers not that...you know leh..) As i predicted, this city was superb! I went to the Movie World in Gold Coast. I rode this superman coaster thing, and i felt amazed by this ride. Also the Batman ride that made me dizzy afterward *cough**chicken**cough*. The other rides was meh...but i enjoyed it. The best part of Gold Coast was their night life. In Indonesia the age restriction to get into the club is 21 years old, but in Australia, as long as you are over 18 years old and have driving license, you can get in easily #notips. And i ate this famous pork ribs called Hurricane. And it was delicious. I did a little shopping right here but not that much my style.

The last city i visited was Sydney. To be honest it's same like Jakarta. Very crowded city, expensive restaurant, and a lot of diversity. I tried a lot of things in sydney, mostly food.... I tried this watermelon cake from Blackstar Pastry (this is the real deal guys! you have to try it). I tried this infamous korean restaurant called Arisun (their chicken was nice! and huge portion). I tried a small Thailand restaurant, even though they were small store, but they gave me the best srikaya bread ever. The bread looked like cakwe, it's taste fine. But the main star was the dipping sauce. Holy shit i'm gonna swear because the dipping sauce was delicious. And i went to Manly's Island with my ex. She showed me the best place to view sunset, and indeed it's beautiful. And we went on the night cruise from the Manly's . And the view was breathtaking. To wrapped up my trip here in Australia, i brought a suitcase and i filled it with chocolate, because i couldn't resist all this cadbury flavor and Their tim tam flavor. You have to buy them if you visit Australia one day.

There's still a lot of story that i didn't tell you. I'm such a bad in terms of making sentences. So enjoy the rest of the trip through these picture, because a picture itself can speak a thousand words:
